Mary Kate Napleton | Associate Wealth Advisor

Mary Kate Napleton is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® practitioner and Associate Wealth Advisor at VWG Wealth Management. She joined VWG in 2024, bringing with her five years of experience in Wealth Management. She started her career as an Underwriter at CIBC Bank USA where she gained a thorough understanding of credit. She then spent three years as an Associate Wealth Management Advisor at Fifth Third Bank where she assisted clients with financial planning, banking and lending, investment management, estate planning, and insurance. She has a passion for serving clients holistically by understanding their full financial picture and goals.

Mary Kate graduated with honors from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and earned her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^® designation in 2023. She was born and raised in Burr Ridge, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. She currently resides in Washington, D.C. in the Dupont Circle neighborhood. She enjoys traveling, working out, golfing, and going to concerts. She is also an avid animal lover and spent time on the PAWS Chicago Professional Board raising money for homeless pets.
